TIM TROXELL - LEAD PASTOR

Midway through my second semester at Oklahoma Wesleyan University I sensed God’s call in my life towards full-time vocational ministry. After graduating with a degree in pastoral ministry, I served as an assistant pastor at Brookings Wesleyan Church for two years. While in Brookings, God developed an interest in my heart for church planting.  Within one year, I began to consider giving leaderhsip to a new Wesleyan congregation in Madison.

Living Hope Wesleyan Church began as a small group of individuals who met weekly for prayer and a Bible Study on Jim Cymbala’s book Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire. God poured His grace into this small group of believers and together we reached a crisis point where we felt that God had brought us to the threshold of beginning a new congregation. Over the course of the next six months, we met for prayer and planning and God helped us to forge a vision for LHWC. A little over one year later we began meeting for public worship services.

Through the testimony of my life and that of LHWC, it is my desire to reach the community of Greater Madison with the good news of Jesus Christ. No matter who you are, where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God, through Jesus Christ, offers you the gift of forgiveness that restores relationship with Him and results in healing, wholeness, purpose and passion. Living within that relationship has been the most freeing and wonderful experience of my life, and I’d give almost anything to help encourage you towards pursuing Him passionately in your own life. If you have an opportunity to visit one of our worship services, midweek small groups or other special events, I’d love to meet you and get to know you better.

Our website contains additional information about the church, as well as a relationship with Christ. I’d encourage you to take some time to browse through it. If you have questions that are not answered by the website or if you’d just like to visit, please feel free to contact me personally - I’d love to hear from you and help however I can.

Kind regards,

Rev. Tim Troxell
